- When we got back inside from taking the trash out last night I said to Steven “I felt like I was walking with glass in my foot.” I looked down at my foot and did have a tiny cut in it. To the naked eye, it didn’t appear to have glass in it, but Steven looked at it under the lit magnifying glass (so glad we have that!) and sure enough, a tiny piece of glass was in there. I’m glad he got it out before I ran this morning! Thank you Steven! (I dropped one of the cats’ food dishes Tuesday night and it broke and I apparently did not clean it up well enough… oops.)
- I’ve been wearing earplugs on the train (because people are NOT quiet in the quiet car and I feel noise-sensitive) and kept them in on my walk to the office Wednesday and that helped quite a bit to prevent overstimulation outside. Woo hoo!

- I wore a fall-ish outfit Wednesday – jeans, long sleeves, a jacket (!!!), and boots! That was a nice little glimpse of fall before we have a weekend with temps in the high 90s.
- I’m totally looking for a Labor Day weekend redo. Last year was kind of an s-show – I was in the ER and Steven was sick (but I did get to go to a Foreigner concert!).
- I love the way my hair looks when Val French braids it. I should really learn how to do it. Will I though?
- Oh! I almost forgot to add! I am moving my INR chat to my private posts. It’s too boring (ha, as if the rest of this isn’t) to put here.
Oh no, where did the glass come from? I am glad you got it out because it wouldn’t have been a good idea to run with it!
I broke one of the cats’ dishes the night before and didn’t clean it up well. And me too! Gah, I can’t imagine how much deeper that would have made it go in.
I recently broke a plate in my kitchen and I am STILL finding the tiniest little pieces of it a week later. All that to say I feel your pain!
I just learned to French braid so I can tell you it is definitely possible to learn! It just takes a lot of trial and error, honestly.
It’s just so hard to clean it all up!!! I hope we both get it all soon. And PS I broke a huge glass bowl this weekend.

Oooh that glass in your foot sounds like it HURT. I’m glad Steven got it out. I am still finding glass from breaking something years ago in my kitchen (in between the fridge and counter, for example). So yes, please be careful!
Not enough hair to braid and thank goodness -I am decidedly not skilled in things related to hairdos! 🙂
