Rachel text me on August 28th and asked if Steven and I wanted to see Foreigner with her and Kevin in a week (last Sunday) at the Walworth County Fairgrounds… and that it would be her treat!

Um yes!

Rachel and I saw Foreigner in March 2015 and loved them and were so excited for our husbands to get to see them too! Unfortunately though, Steven was sick and couldn’t come. So it was just the three of us.

I hadn’t been to the Walworth County Fairgrounds before (about 50 mins from our house) but it was easy to get to and I parked right next to Rachel (after I parked somewhere else then realized I had followed the signs and not parked where she said she was, ha). We walked around the fair for a bit, chatted while eating a bucket of fries, walked around a bit more, then went to the concert!

I’m so glad I had grabbed my sweater-thing from the car! It was in the low 60s and felt it. It was nice to sit outside and not melt.

Foreigner sounded amazing and had so much energy. I love that I know all of the songs. I am not one of those people who likes to listen to music they don’t know.

I was a bit bummed they didn’t have a saxophonist for “Urgent” and didn’t like how they stretched out “Juke Box Hero” with a bunch of instrumentals (wah wah wah) but overall it was a great show and I loved the “I Want to Know What Love Is” singalong!

I wonder what awesome 80s band Rachel and I will see next!
