On Sunday I brought my portable Bluetooth speaker in to the garage so we could listen to holiday music while we read garage door assembly instructions over and over.
I got a text from Steven’s dad asking if I’d call him about a gift for Steven. When Steven went inside the house for a minute, I left the garage, disconnected my phone from the speaker, walked down the driveway, and called Steven’s dad.
We were talking about the gift when my phone cut out. I kept saying “hello?” and “are you still there?”
When I finally realized what happened, and looked down at my phone to confirm that yes, it had for some reason reconnected to the Bluetooth speaker, Steven was already back in the garage working, and heard everything his dad said and what the gift was. Because it was being broadcast on the freaking speaker.
Great.
Just… act surprised. Sigh.
Yay, Christmas
Oh nooooooo! That’s the worst. I have a Bluetooth speaker for my shower and it’s started to do that randomly – will just switch over from my phone speaker to the Bluetooth speaker. It’s so creepy when it happens, too! I’m never expecting it and it makes me think there’s someone in my apartment. lol
That would be super creepy in your space!!! Eek! Glad to know it’s not just me. Be careful if you are talking about presents and yours is around. LOL.
LOL! That is kind of scary that that can happen, though. I can imagine situations where that could cause big problems…
Yeah, right? Especially for more clandestine calls…
