- Last week was Ned’s annual vet appointment, and this week was Apollo and Starbuck’s! I originally had all three of them going in together then came to my senses. Ha. It would NOT work to have Ned and Starbuck in a room together.
- Ned did not need Gabapentin but I gave some to Apollo and Starbuck, then Khali had some too… she actually was camped out in the carrier. Too bad the appointment was not for those three!
- They’re physically doing well. Both lost weight and the doctor made a joke “Apollo has something I don’t often see on cats – a waistline.” Ha. Starbuck was a bit fearful though. Two gabas for her next time.
- Check out the beautiful new mani I got with Lorena last night! All my appointments are on Wednesdays after work and I feel bad I sometimes go in moody because of my day but I ALWAYS feel better when I leave.
- Steven and I are such adults – we signed our will and trust yesterday at the lawyer’s office!
- Since he was downtown we had lunch together. It was snowing and I managed to fall on the sidewalk. I am so glad he was with me. It felt less embarrassing that way. I am surprisingly NOT very bruised. Are these blood thinners WORKING? (Just kidding, they are)
- I have my next INR appointment this afternoon. It’s been so long (yay!).
- We decided to get a Christmas tree this year! We usually don’t if we aren’t going to have guests, but we thought it would be fun and festive!
- If you like flavored kettle corn check out this brand – Pop’s Kettle Corn. I bought some at the market this weekend and it’s so good we ate it all and ordered more!

Tell me more about this Gabapentin. Lila might be a good candidate for that, especially if it makes it easier to get her into a carrier, ha.
That mani is GORGEOUS. Wow!!
Eeks about the fall – I’m glad you were okay and are not very bruised from it!
Hooray for a Christmas tree! I’m glad you’re getting one this year. π
Ooo! She probably is! It’s a pill that is for treating seizures, pain, and anxiety. It has a calming effect on them and makes them a bit out of it, but much calmer and easier to handle (and they come off if by the next day). It would definitely help get her in her carrier. It might even help clip her nails if you can’t do that now (that is the only way I can clip Khali’s and Starbuck’s). I open the pill up and sprinkle it in their fave wet food. They know something is up LOL, but they eat it. I would def ask your vet about it! <3
Thank you!
Me too! I have some internal leg pain - I was walking fast on the treadmill and had to slow it down! I will keep an eye on that.
Me too! WE are excited!!!! We are getting it this Saturday!
