- Yesterday was our first National Black Cat Appreciation Day with Ned being part of our family!
- Ned wearing a bell collar has been SO effective! The potty issues stopped as soon as he started wearing it. I highly recommend this method.
- We’re rewatching Game of Thrones and geesh, the last season is so bad.
- My leg looked really funky (swollen, odd raised blood patterns, blue and red coloring) after my Tuesday commute to the office so I went to Immediate Care Wednesday morning. It was a long wait (next time I need to get there early for a better spot in line) and they looked at me and sent me to the ER for an ultrasound, to rule out a blood clot. I didn’t have one (or a visible fracture, they did x-rays too), which is great – they think my leg is still recovering from whatever I did to it on July 12. Sigh. I am frustrated and was really emotional about it and now am wondering what the freak my hospital bill will be. Everyone I dealt with was really great though.
- Last week one of the stickers on my new mani started to lift just two days after I got the mani so I put a layer of clear polish on it like I normally do… then thought, why don’t I do something more permanent? So I resined over that part of the polish. Ha!
- Random pet peeves I have encountered this week – when people share (especially nature) photos and don’t make the horizon line level, and when people add unnecessary apostrophes to last names.
- A few weeks ago Instagram combined my draft image posts with reels posts. At first it was just annoying to have them mixed up, but then I realized every time I post an image or delete a draft it deletes a draft reel! I keep hoping updates will fix this but no luck so far. Gah, the glitches on this app!
