Highlight of the Week: Starting the week off with a ride with Dad.

Notes:

  • Dad and I did a short ride Monday to test out the new tube we put in my tire. It held air but I was having phantom feelings of it going flat. I wanted to test it again this weekend but didn’t.
  • My left ankle was really starting to bug me at the end of Monday and it hurt when I woke up Tuesday. Ugh. I wonder if I sprained it the previous week. During my Sunday and Monday ride I felt a jolt up my ankle anytime we went over train tracks or a seam in the road.
  • I ended up taking the entire week off because of my ankle/foot. It was swollen and poufy all week. When I’d wake up in the night and need to get out of bed to use the bathroom it really hurt, and sometimes it hurt like that during the day, too. I looked at my doctor’s schedule to make an appointment and the first availability is September 2nd. Ha! So I might visit Immediate Care if it does not get better this week.
