Notes:

  • Ahh, I totally bonked my Monday run. It was hotter and I didn’t fuel enough during the day. I slowed way down in the last mile and had so little energy. The walk to my car felt like it took forever. I felt good after I ate when I got home!
  • Wednesday’s run went much better. The dew point close to the temperature so it felt pretty sticky, but I just kept it slow. And I put a gel in the car in case I needed it after – I was not happy when I got to the car Monday night and didn’t have any snackies!
  • I finally walked the beautiful dirt trail in McDonald Woods and loved it! I can’t wait to go back. I’ve always stuck to the crushed limestone trail there.
  • Friday was hot and sunny again, then Sunday was cooler and overcast and I was so grateful!
  • I had calf soreness Tuesday night and figured it was from sitting with my heel raised on the train. It continued all the way though the week, and when I got my pedi on Friday it felt so good to have my nail tech massage it! Then I noticed I have a big bump at the bottom of my calf. It doesn’t bother me when I run, but I feel it when I am sleeping. So… that’s weird.
