A few highlights from the weekend!

Thursday

  • Finishing up a commission.
  • Getting the house tidied up to have friends over on Friday.
  • Filming some Reel stuff (prep for my Meet the Maker Series).
  • Chili for dinner.

Friday

  • Tricia and her daughter visiting. Her daughter was not sure about being here at first, but then when she saw all the cats she was very happy! She kept showing them all the toys I had gotten out for her to play with. It was so cute.
  • Tricia bringing me some tea and a HUGE mug!
  • Finishing up a commission for my snister (and I thought I was done with commissions but got 3 more commissions that day!).
  • A hot bath.
  • Getting rocks in the mail from two rock painting friends.
  • Painting a commission.

Saturday

  • A longer run.
  • Dropping off packages at the PO – I always enjoy visiting with Diana.
  • Breakfast sandwiches by Steven.
  • Starbucks on the way back from an errand with Steven.
  • Filming some reels.
  • Getting another commission painted.

Sunday

  • Pancakes for breakfast.
  • Lettings Ned out. This was the first time we let him roam the house without a gate between the two floors. It went okay-ish. He’d go upstairs sometimes and stare at the other three cats. Every once in a while they’d be growling and hissing. And Ned did get smacked by Khali when he went in. Ha. It’s kind of progress, but I hate seeing our cats so stressed out. I WANT THEM TO GET ALONG, AND GET ALONG NOW.
  • The Craft & Relic Holiday Market with Bobbi. There were so many vendors with wonderful items. I got a lot of holiday gifts for folks. And I won a door prize!
  • Seeing Meagan from TacoCat Creations at the market.
  • Lunch with Bobbi at Panera. It was so nice to sit and chat. And the soup was perfect on a chilly day. And the hot chai!
  • Starting a gift rock for my nephew for Christmas.
