Notes:

  • It was so windy on Monday, and I was pleasantly surprised my run didn’t suck! I think it’s because I did at out and back starting into the wind, so the end felt easier.
  • I was so stiff on Monday from running 5 miles on Saturday and walking 4 on Sunday. Ha. Ha ha ha ha ha. Wow, how things have changed.
  • And I was sore from my Wednesday strength session on Thursday’s run. Yeah. So out of shape.
  • Gosh darnit, I rolled BOTH my ankles on Saturday’s run. What’s wrong with me? I’ve noticed it happens when I turn my head at all to take in my surroundings. And the shoes I had were super worn out so that didn’t help. I threw those out and I’ll be ore careful. The right ankle feels okay but the left was still recovering so that didn’t help. It felt okay enough to walk Sunday.
  • Our Sunday walk was just stunning with all the fall foliage! I am glad we got out for it.
  • Monthly recap! In October I ran 31.1 miles (10 runs). I walked 7 times and did 5 strength workouts. I sprained my ankle on 9/29 so I had to take a bit of time at the beginning of the month to heal.
