Notes:
- This week reminded me that I really need to be more diligent about planning my workouts against the weather, work, and the temperature. But mostly work. I tried to take a half day Friday so I could workout that afternoon and had to cancel it because I was too busy. Ha ha ha. Cry.
- I spoiled myself with so many runs in the preserves this fall – I don’t want to run my boring winter routes at all. I should just be grateful I can run at all!
- I did a heavy leg-focused strength session Saturday and felt it Sunday am. Even if the roads hadn’t been covered in snow, running would have been so slow! I walked on our treadmill, which we’ve had since 2006 and I haven’t used in over a year. The screen isn’t working, which didn’t bother me, but it decided to start working again during my cool down. Ha!
- Monthly recap! In January I ran 81.7 miles (16 runs). My coldest run was 24°F and my warmest was 40°F. I walked 7 times (3 of those with friends!). I did 11 strength workouts.
Brr! those are some cold runs! How are you enjoying Bridgerton?
Right? To be expected 🙂
You know, I have not given in the attention it needs so I cannot answer very well! I watched the beginning of it (like episodes 1-5?) while painting so I was only listening. Then I watched it yesterday while walking and enjoyed it much more! So, I am enjoying it, mostly! I do like one story line better than the other, naturally 🙂
If I ever get around to watching it, I will ask you which story line that was! 😉
Felix binge watched it during his exams, for study breaks. We saw the first episode together and then he got so far ahead of me I never got caught up. I thought the costumes and sets were gorgeous, so much vibrant color!
Sounds good!
I love the costumes too, and like the classical take on modern music!
Nice work… and yes, planning workouts is key for me.
