Friday seems to be my weekly rock photo dump date – I think I’ll stick with it!

A thought before I share what I’ve been working on though – I’m so glad I started my rock Instagram account (kimhidestherocks). In the same sense that the rock Facebook group has been a cheerful, good-intentions-only, joy-based respite from the world, the Instagram account is the same way. It’s mostly just people liking each other’s work and sharing encouraging feedback. It feels nice.

Alright, on to the rocks! These cats in hearts were inspired by, you guessed it, a tea towel my snis sent me a photo of. I hid these on my Tuesday walk.

I saw an ad for a mug that had black cats knocking things over on it, so I made a rock of the cat knocking over a glass of water, and decided I didn’t like how it turned out and didn’t make any more. Ha. I hid this at Starbucks on Monday.

These “catci” (catcuses?) were on a mug my snis sent me a picture of. I hid them during my run yesterday.

These animals are inspired (copied?) by the same artist who inspired the chonky birbsVicky Endangered. I just love her style. I still need to hide these.

And in this set I tried out styles from three places – marina_creativite, GUGU, and an ad from stickermule that Snis sent. They turned out so so (I only really like the black cat on the book)! I still have lots of other cat styles Snis sent me to copy and see if I like better.

Oh! I almost forgot to add – I left a rock at the brewery we ate at Sunday and they posted a video of it on their Facebook wall. I want to have rocks with me when I go out to share at places like that. So whenever I’m in a state where we feel comfortable enough to eat inside again…
