- I don’t have much I can post for rock photos because I’m working on some gifts (which is so funny to me – my snis was teasing me about giving everyone rocks for Christmas when I started this and I never thought I’d give one as a gift…), but I did make these coffee cats based on a tea towel Snis sent me a picture of, and hid them Monday. I’ve been working all weekend and week on NYD party animals to hide tomorrow!
- Oh! I created a public rock Instagram if you want to follow me – KimHidestheRocks.
- Steven got me this pasta poster for Christmas and I can’t wait to hang it up! I love love LOVE pasta.
- We’ve been watching Bloodline during lunch break. It’s slow and I am not sure I like it, but… I usually paint or play around on my phone anyway, so, shrug. I’ve also started watching Bridgerton while I paint.
- One of the bright sides of staying home (not going to the office or teaching anymore) is that don’t have to go drive during inclement weather to make it to work anymore. I’m grateful for that.

I LOVE my aftershockz. Total game changer for me. My only complaint is that they don’t work well in the winter for me when I need a hat and headlamp. They are fine with either one, but hurt my head with both. Other than that I love them so much! Have you been using wireless headphones?
I was wondering about using them in the winter – I’ve seen people say they are weird under a hat! Do you put them over?
Yeah, I’ve had wireless headphones for many years! The kind that wrap around my ear and drop in.
I usually wear an earband thing instead of a hat. I put them under it. I really like being able to hear the noise around me, and I have yet to find any style of in ear ear buds that stays in my tiny ears!
Awesome! I will try that, thank you!
And I know so many people who have that issue – it surprises me it’s not addressed!
That pasta poster is amazing.
Thanks!
Wow, I had no idea there were so many pasta shapes. WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE?
Right? I love cavatappi/cellentani. What is yours?
Did you see that Bucatini parody article thing floating around? I’d like it, but it’s super long and not 100% worth the read just for the giggles.
I am in AWE of that pasta poster! It’s almost as tall as you!! What a fun gift. π
How are you liking Bridgerton? I’ve heard mixed reviews so I’m on the fence about it!
Yes! I can’t wait to hang it up and study it more. I should probably try every single one, right?
I think it’s fine to listen to while I am doing something else! The costumes and sets are beautiful, and the music is amusing (classical versions of pop songs). Some of the story seems silly and makes me laugh, but again, it’s good for listening to!
That pasta poster is awesome!
Thanks!
Gosh, I love your rocks (as you know) and that you are sending them as gifts. Maybe you should start a product line – your drawings are so cute!
Not as much of a pasta fan but I appreciate your enthusiasm. π
Thank you! I have thought about it! Not sure if it’s nice to sell copies of other people’s designs though. Ha.
LOL!!!!
