I already had a clean face mask in my car*, but this morning, before I left to run, I grabbed my BRAND NEW!!! cats with Santa hats one from Tacocat Creations because I was so excited to wear it!
And when I went in to Starbucks to pick up my mobile order** the barista said “I love your face mask!”
DAY. MADE!!!!
Brr, it was 26° and windy on my run!
I was very cool about it and said, “Thanks! It just came in the mail yesterday and I was really excited to wear it here today!” To which she said “it’s the little things!”
Yes, yes it is. Hopefully we can all keep finding little things to make us feel joyful each day. (Especially as it gets colder and we’re stuck inside and on suggested lockdowns due to COVID-19.)
*If you drive, put your clean face mask over the air vent so it’s warmed up when you put it on to go outside in the cold! Feels so nice!
**Who has time to wait in a line of 15+ cars? Insane!
