- When we leave and our cat sitter checks in on the cats, their clock sometimes resets to her feeding times, which is later than ours. I was really excited for that to happen after our short trip last weekend but that has NOT been the case. They seem to be retaliating and waking me up even earlier for food. UGH!
- Starbuck seems to think the tomatoes left on the counter are toys. We keep finding them in the living room, office, and kitchen.
- I learned how to request books on the library’s website! I had to ask in person because I could not find it on my own – it’s under the interlibrary loan link. They said it will take about a month. I put my request in right away!
- I am so excited to read One to Watch. I hope it lives up to the hype! I am not in to romance and don’t watch The Bachelor but love a body-positivity theme.
- I usually don’t buy pumpkin flavored things, but I picked up this bread at Aldi and YUM!!!
- I also picked up some actual pumpkins. I know, much decoration!
Maybe I should put our fall wreath out… when fall actually starts next week
Our son has an automatic feeder for his cat; it dispenses food at certain times throughout the day and it was hilarious to hear the noise of the food falling into the bowl and see Goose bolt for it…although he didn’t always eat the food right away. I guess he just wanted to see it? LOL
Years ago I used to put out fall decor but our “fall” season starts so late that I haven’t bothered, especially since I’d have to take it down and put up Christmas decorations less than a month later. Your pumpkins look cute – love the mix of colors!
Aww! Goose! How did meeting him and the gf go?! We had an automatic feeder for Data and he figured out how to break it open and eat his food early! I bet the newer ones are more cat proof. I should think about that 🙂
Right! You’d just put it up in November then immediately take it down! Not worth it.
Thanks 🙂
Oooh, pumpkin spice bread sounds delicious! I’m going to Trader Joe’s tomorrow specifically to scout out yummy fall treats. I’m a sucker for seasonal foods, and aside from fresh fruit during the summer, I think fall has some of the best seasonal foods (apples! Things spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg! Butternut squash!). Your pumpkins are cute! I’m anxious to decorate for fall (other than my Target birdies, that is, since they’re already out), but all of my summer flowers are still blooming, so it still feels too early to me. Some of them actually started blooming again yesterday! I’m getting a mum in a couple of weeks, though, so maybe I’ll be more in the mood for outdoor fall decorations then. I feel like it just looks weird to have pumpkins mixed in with fulling blooming pink petunias, haha.
Oh my gosh, you are going to have so much fun at TJ’s! They have the best treats year round and I bet they have some fab fall stuff! I just found this recipe for a fall-y oatmeal bake and I can’t wait to get the ingredients to make it!
Thanks! It felt early to put them out – I usually have a strict fall equinox rule, ha! But there they were at Aldi 😉 And it would definitely look weird if we had actual flowers!
I picked up One to Watch from BOTM a few months ago but haven’t yet read it. I think I will soon – excited to hear your thoughts since it’s not your usual genre!
I was going to ask if you had it! Sarah just posted her interview with the author. I thought it was an interesting episode.
I am enjoying the book so far. There is a lot of text that is texting, interviews, or articles, so it reads really fast.
