Notes:
- I FINALLY found a sports bra to replace all my old running sports bras (and whoa, they needed to be replaced – some where from 2015!!!) – the Senita Athletics Sarah Sports Bra. It’s got enough support (including removable padding, which is new to me), but doesn’t cover too much of my chest, and… it’s only $26!!! It has a built-in pocket in the back for my phone, which I’ve been trying out. The bluetooth doesn’t cut out when it’s there (yay!), but it’s awkward to get out (boo!), and my phone makes my back hot (eye roll). I’m going to keep trying it there though, to see if I get used to it.
- I also found a handheld water bottle to replace my old ones that are falling apart and incredibly stinky – the CamelBak Quick Grip Chill Handheld Hydration Pack (not an affiliate link). It’s comfortable and holds 17 ounces of water. And the pocket is big enough to hold my iPhone 8 (but I don’t want the weight of it in my hand).
- I love that the weather is cool enough for a handheld! Ha, not that I got up early enough this week to enjoy the temps in the 40s.
- It was nice to see some lower paced miles this week and last week. I think my body is getting used to running again (I have absolutely no hip pain) and cooler temps and running shorter mileage help as well!
- I did my first run from the house this week (I’d been driving to trails since I hurt my hip) and it felt fine to run on the road.
Ahhh, I love that you found Senita! I’m slowly replacing all of my stuff with stuff from them. I just ran in my first Stow & Go today. I have several Sarah’s too. The pocket in the Stow & Go doesn’t seem quite as deep so it’s easier to get things out of.
Are you wearing their clothing too? So far I have just tried the bra! I will have to look at the Stow & Go!
I love the Rio 7” shorts! I also have leggings and 7/8 leggings, too. I prefer their “Skin” and “Lux” fabrics. I don’t have many tops (Just some Tahoe tanks and two Wonder long sleeves). They have a great Facebook group where people review their purchases. Also, the FB group gets early access to new releases. There’s also a Senita Buy-Sell-Trade group where you can get stuff at a discount or that’s sold out online.
I need to look at the shorts. It’s sometimes hard to find 7″ inseam ones that are decent! I stocked up at Target this summer but I am sure I will need to replace them next year.
I will look for those groups. Thanks!
Hooray for successfully finding a new sports bra! 🙂 I have never heard of that company…
I hadn’t either! I randomly saw it in the back of Runner’s World, which is really funny because I haven’t opened any of the issues they’ve sent for the last year+ but decided to open this one since they said it really was my last. Ha.
