Every time* I have a slew of days where I’m tripping myself and/or running in to things, Steven teases me and says “are you going through puberty?” since I must be going through a growth spurt** and that’s why I don’t know where my arms or legs are! Ha.

I always say yes, then inevitably run in to something, not much later, and NOT on purpose.

Last night I had it really bad. While on a walk, I managed to get a stick stuck in my shoe and poke the bottom of my foot. Then I tripped over my feet later, and felt a ligament buckle under my knee.

Then when we got home I ran in to the hinge side of the bathroom door. Ouch.

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF (this is not related to me being clumsy), Apollo came ripping around the corner to catch the red dot, and ran across my toes… with his claws out. Wah.

I went to bed kind of moody, with a band-aid on three of my toes. Ha.

But we mostly had a fun night! Mostly – we just had a weird dinner experience.

We ordered pizzas and a salad to go, and when we got to the car with our food, we thought it was odd we had two different sized pizza boxes, since we ordered two of the same size! It turns out they gave us someone else’s pizza.

No big deal, we want back in and they found ours. It was lukewarm at that point, but whatever! Me hungry.

We went to a park to eat and we realized they also gave us the wrong salad, one with meat on it (we don’t eat meat). Oops. We should have checked that. Also, I didn’t realize at the restaurant, but my pizza was missing a topping I paid extra for. WHATEVER. It was still good.

We ate and went on a walk (it felt so nice out by the lake! I didn’t even get sweaty!!!), and talked about how we need to remember going to the lake as an option when we have guests during nice months.

Then we went back to the pizza place to return the salad and get a refund for it since it was kind of pricey. They were nice about returning it (and were nice before) but the return took forever because the manager kept punching things in his computer then said several times “you will get a refund on your bank account.” I felt like we were stuck in some weird loop, then he goes “wait, so what do you want?”

We were both so confused. We want to return this salad and get a refund. We told him that again, and he gave us cash (which I preferred – I really wasn’t confident the return would show up on our card). And we got the hell out of there.

The pizza was actually really good… we just need to order ahead and double check it before we go! <— probably a good practice any time you order food!
