Notes:

  • Ha, strength class felt so hard Monday night! That’s what happens when you take a week off from strength training! Oops!
  • When I was finishing my run Thursday I saw that runner lady I used to see on Thursdays in May last year! She was too far away to talk, but we waved. My heart panged. I think it really wants someone to run with, by my brain knows my running schedule doesn’t work like that.
  • This week wasn’t quite as gloomy as the weather collage above suggests – we actually had some sun on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, just never when I went to run (which is fine with me – I do better when it’s overcast). I am not ready to run in the sun and higher temps, but of course, the only way to GET ready is to suffer through a few weeks of it!
  • Edited to add: I was planning one route Sunday and my legs took me on a different one, and I ended up running in to our pet sitter! That was such a nice surprise and gave me a pep in my step for the rest of the run home!
