- I am down to my bare bones posting schedule – training recaps and RTT! That means I have nothing going on, and I don’t want my blog to just be a place to rant about things that are annoying me (example), so I keep them to myself.
- But I do have to share this! After our run Friday, Rachel and I went out for apps and our jaws literally dropped when the pretzel we ordered was delivered. The waitress reminded us “Well, the menu did say GIANT pretzel…”
- I finished The Fifth Season and LOVED it! I can’t wait to read the next book in the trilogy. While I wait for that, I am reading a book Amy C recommended, State of Wonder, about Marina, a pharmacologist who travels to Brazil to get information about drug research her company is paying Dr. Swenson to do there. Dr. Swenson is not sharing ANY research info, and won’t even tell the company where the lab is! Marina will also be investigating the death of her lab partner, who was sent out there before her for the same purpose, but died of a fever there (or so Dr. Swenson told them…).
- The cats were being especially adorable yesterday (to Steven, while I was running). We won’t talk about all the times Apollo meowed at me while I was hosting a conference call today. Sigh.
- Steven and I saw Fighting with My Family this week and thought it was funny (and a lot better than the last thing we saw in the theater, ha). I did have to ask Steven what they were saying quite a bit – I rely on closed captioning heavily at home, and the actors in this had British accents! Ugh, my horrible hearing.

My son said the same thing about that movie – he really liked it, too.
I love a giant soft pretzel, but holy moly, that is one GIGANTIC pretzel, LOL!
Cool! I love feel good comedies 🙂

It was so good! And the mustard that came with it was delish!
That pretzel. omg. Pretty sure that’s what my snack dreams are made of. All of that salt! *heart-eyed emoji*
Someone told me there is a place in Lincolnshire (or was it Vernon Hills?) that makes them like this. There must be a place in the city!
O.M.G. That is one huge pretzel!!! Yum!!!
Hope you are enjoying the book! We will be reading it for book club for May…will be interested what your thoughts are about it!
I am still thinking about it!
I am enjoying it! So annoyed with Dr. Swenson though! Ugh!
Ahhh, I love giant pretzels! That one looks especially tasty.
(You can always rant to me about stuff! I’m here for your rants, among other things!)
You and I could have taken it down!!!!
Thank you! I appreciate that! 🙂
