Is it annoying or cute when people discover facebook for the first time and won’t stop talking about it?
Today, it is annoying. It’s not a novelty anymore.

It’s okay to be late to the game but don’t carry on about it. It’s just makes them look kind of out of it. 😉
sizzle – I agree. I didn’t get into it for a long time either! It just seems like people get obsessed with it. Hmm, funny I write this after my post about trying to be interested in what others are interested in! 😉
Here’s why I am mean: I get annoyed when people ask me how to do stuff on Facebook. Look, we all figured it out on our own…you can too, princess.

Hilly – Ha! When you are a newbie, you do have a lot of questions about how to do things! And I don’t think facebook is very intuitive. It’s not fun to explain how to do things. I can understand that!
Christina – This is about a coworker who spent most of the day yesterday talking to people about facebook, including a 30 minute phone call about it.
Okay, I thought it was about Steven when I read this. Ha ha! 🙂
diane – No, it’s not about Steven 😉 Even though I tease him about it, and am amazed that he gets so many friend requests, he isn’t obsessed and rarely talks about it. (And that would be kind of mean to write about Steven!)
LMAO! A good friend of mine started Fbing last week, and she won’t stop SuperPoking me!!! Soooooo annoying. Then there’s the flair….

Facebook newbies can be annoying. I say to them: you will figure it out eventually. Until then, thank you for being patient.
I’m on it, and for the most part like being on it,but I’m not one to go on and on about it. What’s the point, lol.

martymankins – “Thank you for your patience during this wait.” Ha ha. You made me think of the announcements they make on the train when we are stopped and no one has a clue what is going on. Just like the newbies don’t have a clue…
Gina (Mannyed) – What is the point?! I don’t think it is… that great of a way to keep in touch with someone. It’s really surface deep… you don’t “know” someone just by looking at their account. And I certainly don’t use it for email! NO WAY!

I only use Facebook to spy on my kids. I find out more about them there than I do in real life. I found out I don’t have to cook Saturday night because they are going to a Christmas party. I keep wondering when they were planning to tell me.

I love facebook but golly it has been around for forever…you would think now people would be embarrassed to say that they had “just” found it 🙂
