If you could be the spokesperson for any product on the market, which product would you choose to enthusiastically represent?
Boca’s Meatless Chik’n Patties.
I don’t know why, but this is the one boca food I never get sick of, and actually crave. You fry one of these patties in a pan for 12 minutes (flipping occasionally), then throw it on a bun, with a bit of mayo, some big pickles and lettuce… heavenly… drool.
(The Morningstar Corn Dogs are runner up. Oh gosh, those are so good – when you make them in the oven. The interesting thing about these soy products is that they always test better in the pan or oven, almost never the microwave. Oh, and I can’t forget the Morningstar Black Bean Burger – yummy! Alright, that’s enough of that!)
My Maid of Honor is so obsessed with corn dogs, she’ll travel long and far to have them. I kid you not. There have been days she’s passed up some of our favorite restaurants in preference for the dog!
PS – like your new masthead, though I kinda miss your wedding pic!
Have you tried the Morningstar “chicken” nuggets? So yummy! They were recommended to me by a fellow carnivore, they are just that good (and reasonably healthy!).
I would endorse Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt & rave about it all the time. I’m really particular about yogurt and it has the perfect fruit to yogurt ratio. Plus it’s made with Splenda and has only 60 calories per serving!
Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser!!!! OMG! Best product EVER!
Or did it have to be food?
Nilsa S. – Where can you even get a corndog? At those hotdog stands you see all over Chicagoland? Thanks about the masthead… I thought maybe it was time to quit showing wedding photos? It’s been 8 months… but hey, if you like them, I will bring them back! π
diane – I like the nuggets too! They just aren’t as filling to me, so I stick to the patty so I don’t overeat! I will have to try that yogurt; I have been craving yogurt lately and haven’t found one I’m in love with.
Kyra – What does that do? Does it work on hard surfaces? It didn’t have to be food! Sorry, I should have made that more clear!
I’ve always wondered about the boca chicken. I like the Morningstar Corn Dogs so I am going to take your word about these ones too.
Boy.. tough question. There’s lots of products that I wouldn’t mind being the spokesperson for.
If we are talking recently (in the last year) then it would have to be Mint Asure capsules
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41AtZDMQF6L._SL500_AA160_.gif
I take these at least 3 times a day… two capsules at a time with some water. They help your breath from the inside out. Here’s my sales pitch:
“Hi honey… *smooch*…. oh boy… you’d better brush your teeth… that’s nasty”
“But I just did..”
— Does bad breath happen to you, even minutes after using toothpaste? Well no more… thanks to Mint Asure. Just two tiny capsules before each meal will take that away. —
“*smooch* That’s better, baby.”
“Thanks Mint Asure”
Nut Goodies. Period.
They’re so good I’ll eat them until they’re gone or I’m sick.
OMG lmao this is so funny you ask this…I have a confesion….WE have been eating all the boca and morningstar food too. We just had one for dinner last night too. We were both saying how awesome and tasty it was. We had the morning star black bean burger. I can proudly say I have aquired a taste for all their food. And if I can say so myself I think I would make a very good spokes person for boca or morningstar and all the gardenburger products.
Midol π
There’s this new product I just picked up- I think it’s the Scotch brand(?) pet hair remover. It is awesome and makes my couch clean as a whistle!
There’s a saying I don’t get…why is a whistle clean?
Cheryl – Try them! But like I said, make them in the skillet! You won’t be disappointed!
martymankins – LOL!!!! π I can just picture your commercial. Those capsules actually sound interesting. Where can you get them?
ajooja – Any specific brand? My husband LOVES nuts too. Heh heh.
Quinn – Hmm, it seems awhile ago, you were teasing me and asking if I was still a vegetarian? HA ha. I am happy you like all the yummy boca and morningstar food!
javaqueen14 – Uh oh…
sizzle – That sounds like something we need. What is it called… if you can find it around your place and let me know! π (Here’s some insight into the “clean as a whistle” phrase, but it’s not that helpful!)
Mint Asure can be purchsed from places like Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS. I pay around $4 for 75 of them.
Brach’s Maple Nut Goodies can be found in most candy aisles, especially places like Walgreen’s, Wal-Mart, Target, etc…

Snack Pack Chocolate Pudding.
martymankins – Thanks. I will see if our Target has them on our weekly trip!
ajooja – OH! THOSE nut goodies! Yumm yumm yumm.
Dave2 – I should have known! A coworker was eating one this week, and I thought of you. And I really wanted one.
