If you could add one month to the year, between two existing months, where would you add the extra 30 days and what would you call the month? (Assume the weather for the new month would be a mix of the of the weather typical for the month preceding it and following it.)
Blubuary – the new month between November and December. Not only would you have more time to complete holiday gift shopping, you have a whole extra month to eat all those holiday sweats and treats!
Honestly, I get sick of all those cookies after a few weeks, but it would be nice to spread out Thanksgiving and Christmas and not feel so rushed and busy for two months! The winter holidays give me a happy high, then it immediately drops off in January… I wouldn’t mind the chilly weather of another month if it meant I was more relaxed!
Wouldn’t you worry that people might use that as an excuse to have that many more food-based events in between? Then you’re stuck with 30 more days of stuff to eat.
I’m not sure I’d want an extra month off. If I was a teacher, sure! But I work 12 months of the year and I have yet to find a “slow” season at work. It doesn’t exist. Maybe if I could take that time and add an hour or so to each day instead just to give me more time to get personal stuff done and, perhaps, sleep? That might be fun!
I’d like a month between November and December too. or we could just remove January altogether.

I was thinking about adding a month btwn Nov and Dec, but I realized that would be an extra 30 days of cold weather. I think that I would like to stick my month in between August and September and call it Ginatember. This way we could have a bit more summer, maybe not as hot, and have time to sneak in some vacation time.
but girl scout cookies come out in Feb so that should cheer us, right?
No clue what I would call it, but I think I’d put one between May and June to extend the perfect spring weather before it gets so hot.
I am with you about a month in between November and December or even October and November. The end of the year is to chock full of things 🙂

Alright so I know I am a little late from posting but I wish their was a month between December and January. That was.. no payments on anything like ( your car payment , house payment, heat, ect. So we all could get out of some of the debt. we put our selfsin on the year before. I think I would call it . Janfebmarapmajunjulaugseptoctnovdec :).. a little long but we could do it….
