• Last November when my parents visited they brought a holiday cardboard scratcher for the cats that was an absolute hit and stayed out for about 10 months until I recycled it. I was going to jokingly ask my mom if she was bringing another for the cats last weekend, but didn’t want to be a brat. Then she showed up with this one! It’s so festive and the cats love it! Thanks Mom!

• Steven and I got tickets to see Love Actually in Concert – so basically, the movie with a live orchestra! It’s one of our “must watch” holiday movies each year and I’m excited to experience it this way.
• We have a world map where we mark the places we’ve traveled with pins. We also starting using it to track locations we flew to with Steven as the pilot. The scale is too small though, and the Midwest has become a bit cluttered. Fortunately, the map set came with a USA map as well, so I’m having a frame made for that one to dedicate it to our flying pins instead. I’m excited for it to be ready by the end of the month!

• This spam comment in response to my last book post made me laugh. Maybe carpet cleaning IS what I need?!?!?!?!?!? “Vibey”? Ha ha ha. This is how you can tell when something is a bot or used AI and didn’t edit it.

• I am moody and very much need a vacation and escape from adulting. Soooooon.
