- I’ve realized when someone offers to pay for me my default is saying “are you sure?” and… that seems like kind of a rude thing to ask. I should just say thank you!
- Is it odd that I am super proud of myself for caring less about certain things? I keep mentioning this but it’s a big deal that I am not beating myself up for not doing things anymore. For example, posting reels on my rock Instagram account. I was trying to do one a day then got burned out and took most of December off and now it feels great not to hold myself to “one a day” anymore.
- I was featured on my work’s Facebook account!

I feel like most Enneagram 2s struggle with your first bullet point! Every time I go out to dinner with my cousin (an enneagram 2), she ALWAYS pays for all of us and gets very annoyed if we try to pay for her. It’s a nice gesture, of course, but I wish it was easier to reciprocate. I don’t think it’s terrible or rude to ask “Are you sure?” at all! And I’m sure you don’t get all huffy if they say they want to pay for you, lol, but as someone who has been on the receiving end of enneagram 2s who don’t like you doing stuff for them, it’s a lot easier when people accept the gift with grace. π
Congrats on being featured in your work’s FB account – that’s really cool!
OMG, thanks for putting that into the Enneagram Lens! I didn’t even think about that but it makes so much sense and I can totally see why your cousin is that way, LOL!
Thank you!!!!
Oh man, accepting a compliment or someone else to pay is so hard… but I think with practice, we can get better at just saying “thank you” π
So cool you were featured on your company’s Facebook page. That’s a nice picture!
Yes! And someone said “are you sure?” to me this weekend and it did not bother me!
Aww, thank you!
