• My ultrasound to see if I still have blood clots is tomorrow. I am going to ask them to check my blood for the antiphospholipid syndrome antibodies as well. Last week my pharmacist told me that even if it all comes back clear that my doctor is conservative and will likely keep me on blood thinners longer. (I can’t remember if I updated the blog after my last INR check a week ago. My INR was 2.8, on the higher side of the 2-3 range, but we decided to keep my meds the same so I’m at a lower risk of a stroke).
  • Today is my 14 year work anniversary! When I hit 15 years next year, I get more leave. Woot woot.
  • We had our work holiday party this week. I used to only go to the division one and not the “big one,” but since the pandemic, I’ve been making more of an effort to be involved with social things since I don’t often see many people in the office. Anyway, it was fun! I wore the headband and earrings my friend Lauren from Australia sent me.

  • And… the rest of this is me complaining. Read at your own risk. Ha.
  • I got a new work iPhone this week and I after I switched it over and my old phone was dead, IT let me know there is a known issue with google chat and meet not working on it… which is A LOT of what I use it for. Sigh. I wish I would have known about the issue before I switched it over. They’ll get it fixed but I actually need those functions to work today while I’m off but still want to listen in to a meeting. Update: they emailed a workaround right before my call today! Which is great because the workaround I came up with and worked at home did not work in the lobby I was in.
  • I don’t know what is up with me but I just don’t feel like documenting things as much as I used to! Part of the problem is I used to double and triple document things. For example, what I was reading here, in Goodreads, and on a spreadsheet. Or my training here, on a spreadsheet, and in Garmin Connect. I used to really enjoy it but now I am NOT. It feels like a waste of time to duplicate it.
  • Yesterday I could not get a new blog post to be created from my computer (I had to start it on my phone then open it as a draft on my computer) for my Stitch Fix post and was like… do I need to document this? It’s documented on Stitch Fix. I like having everything HERE, in one spot, but don’t enjoy all the work of it anymore.
