- I am teaching another painting class at Sip & Purr on Saturday the 22nd. Katy (the owner) made a Facebook event for it last Friday and I didn’t tell my friends who wanted to take the class about it because I figured I would wait until there was a flyer to show them. There was no flyer by Tuesday so I decided to tell them and there was only one spot left. Oops. I had no idea people still looked at Facebook for things. That’s cool it almost sold out that fast though!
- My INR was within the 2-3 range again – 2.9 today. I can’t get in for another appointment until next Thursday and am pretty stoked to only have to do the drive once next week.
- We had a two days all hands at work this week and so many people were in the office! It was fun to see everyone (especially my out of state coworkers) and go out after work. But now I am pooped (as expected).
When you’re the artist in the group during a group activity
That’s awesome that your Sip & Purr event is just about sold out. YGG!
What happens if your INR is over 3? Is that still okay?
Thank you!!!!!
An INR over 3 puts you at risk for “dangerous bleeding” since it means the blood is clotting too slowly (the higher the number, the slower it clots), and they would work to get it back under 3. I wonder if they would be more worried if it got under 2 since that means it would be clotting faster?! I should ask! Someone NOT on blood thinners would aim for an INR of 1.1 or lower.
