A few highlights from the weekend!

Friday

  • Waking up with the trio sleeping with me. Aww. I know they are just on me for my body warmth but it still makes me feel good, like, maybe they like me?!
  • A random reel I made getting a big response.
  • Doing an Instagram Live after work. I scheduled one for Friday and one for Saturday to paint the design I am going to teach next weekend at Sip & Purr and it was so helpful! Friday’s Live was a fun (especially since a friend from Denmark joined) but Saturday’s was even better because of what I learned on Friday!
  • Mexican food out for dinner. It was a bit meh, but nice to eat out.
  • Watching Stranger Things when we got home and painting. I am liking this season so much better than 2 & 3!

Saturday

  • My first ride of the season. After I finished my ride I remembered I wanted to buy riding sandals so I went to the bike store and they didn’t have any. But the whole reason I wanted them is so my toes don’t cramp, so I got bigger shoes that I hope will work better! I was not keen on riding with my toes exposed, even though people do it!
  • Fitting grocery shopping in before my second Live.
  • Live #2! This time Val joined me and we painted together and chatted while others watched.
  • A nap! Ahh, it felt so good
  • Burgers for dinner, and painting after dinner. I am trying to get lots of rocks ready to donate to Sip & Purr on Saturday!

Sunday

  • Cool weather for my long run. This is a few weeks in a row now! I am so grateful!
  • Taking a bath when I got home.
  • Getting some chores done. Bare minimum, but it makes me feel like an adult. We had a cleaning person who came twice then quit the company. I hope we can have someone come again, about once a month.
  • Painting at lunch time and after dinner. I painted 11 rocks on Sunday to donate! Plus 3 on Friday and 3 on Saturday! Woot! I am up to 58 rocks to donate, and my goal was 50! (that includes 6 that Val sent me to donate)

Lowlights

  • Someone on our street having a really loud party late into the night.
