There are so many highlights from this long weekend that I am going to break it into two posts!

The biggest highlight of all!

My snister had her baby on Thursday! She and Ella Louise are both doing great!

Thursday 

• Christina having her baby! I was super energized and couldn’t focus the rest of the day after that, ha.
• My Jack Sparrow reel doing well.
• Getting some reels filmed at the preserve after work.
• Getting a bunch of packages! Whoa! One from the states, two from Germany, one from the Netherlands, and a card from Canada and a card from the Netherlands.

Friday

• Having the day off.
• A new mani with Lorena.
• Receiving more pictures of Ella from my snis.
• Spending time on the balcony with the cats.
• TWO NAPS!!!!!
• El Famous for dinner.
• Taking the time to paint after dinner. I haven’t been painting much lately and I miss it.

Saturday

• A beautiful run.
• Getting the go ahead to come meet Ella! We were headed to Iowa to see Gina and fam for the weekend and my snister said it was fine to stay over and meet Ella… the same day she got home from the hospital.
• Filming a funny reel before we left for Iowa.
• Meeting Ella and hanging out with the family. Ella is so sweet. And so small!

Sunday

• Going on a walk with Dad and filming a reel (so much reel talk).
• Picking up donuts for everyone (but me, wah, see below).
• More cuddle time with Ella!
• Lunch with my snister’s fam and our parents before heading out of town.
• Arriving in Guttenberg! I’ll pick up from here on part ii!

Lowlights

• The vegan donut place in town being closed Sunday. Grr. I had this feeling they would be.
