Notes:

  • Oops, I didn’t write any notes as the week went by and now this seems so long ago! Was Memorial Day weekend really only last weekend?
  • We were in Iowa the first two days of the week, and I didn’t work out on Monday, but walked with Gina (to walk her dog) on Tuesday and then hiked with Gina and Luca. The mosquitoes were bad in some parts of our hike. They are really bad here too – I think I got 25 bites on my Wednesday walk. Ick.
  • I’m grateful to be able to run during lunch break. Although, I keep thinking when I do that I will be productive and paint right after work and I never do.
  • I entertained the thought of not training for RAGBRAI and just jumping on my bike and seeing how it goes in July, but nixed that idea. Ha. I definitely need to train. The day we are riding looks brutal – 65 miles and 2,996 feet of elevation gain. Barf.
  • I had another beautifully cool long run! I feel so spoiled! And grateful.
  • Monthly recap! In May I ran 72.4 miles (15 runs). My coldest run was 47°F and my warmest was 79°F. I walked 15 times and did 1 strength workout.
