I moved my Stitch Fix up to get some more summery tops and dresses and I was pretty disappointed in the preview I received yesterday. One top had the same pattern as a dress I got in my last fix, and the two dresses were the same colors as the dress from my last fix. Wah wah, right? I like these colors and patterns but I don’t want items that look so similar in my closet.
The major bummer is I like the dresses in the preview better, but I kept the ones from the last fix, so I won’t be getting those to try.
I did see three cute tops I’d like to try (the ones I put a pink dot by), and asked for tops in pink or lilac – two colors I don’t have in my closet.
People warned me this happened to them with their fixes – they started getting very similar offerings! I’m definitely going to go back to every 3 months or longer after this. I just wanted some more summery stuff.
Stitch Fix does tend to send the same things from time to time – once, I got two shirts in the exact same style, just in different colors. So weird!
I’m taking a break from SF for now; I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of what I need and now I just want to buy things one at a time when I feel something’s missing from my closet. But it was so fun to do it, and I’m sure I’ll do it again in a year or two!
I remember that! It’s kind of funny, if I find something I like I do buy a lot of it in different colors but I would not expect THEM to do that. Ha!

Duuuude, I’d be bummed, too. They seem to have lost their creativity with this one. I vote for the pause, too, at this point. 😛 (Never done SF, don’t see it happening anytime soon, but… one never knows… :>)
Right? So lame! I at least do love 4 of the 5 things I received from that fix.
