• The cats are getting along and tolerating each other much better – some of the trio will even hang out around Ned downstairs during the day. But I keep finding battle wounds on Khali. She’s missing a patch of fur on her chest (below), one on her cheek (which has a scab), and on the back of her neck (another scab). I hopes she heals and the fur fills back in. I’m always upset when I find these wounds on her.

• I saw a stray cat using the cat house Monday morning! Yay!
• My Sip & Purr class for Saturday sold out! Yay!
• I do not understand how to grow my hair out. I usually go too long between cuts then have to cut off a ton because the ends are so damaged. But I have been getting regular cuts and asking just for a trim but it’s always too short. Maybe I should just be more clear about wanting a minimal trim.
• Our county forced us to switch garbage and recycling providers. We’re unincorporated and could pick our own provider before, but now all unincorporated houses in our county have to use the same provider. The new provider started last week and it’s not going great – no garbage pickup last week and no pickup so far this week (Wednesday is our pickup day). I wonder if they have enough employees or trucks to serve the county. I bet it was a HUGE increase in clients. Anyway, I hate having our bins sit at the end of the driveway for several days – it looks bad and I want them in the garage so I can put stuff in them! But since we all have the same provider, everyone’s bins are out, so at least we aren’t sticking out like a sore thumb.
