Notes:

  • I had a cough and it was quite cold out at the beginning of last week so I just walked for exercise. I was happy to start running again on Thursday.
  • My Friday (April 22) run was in Kansas City and it was hot (70°!) for me! But I was glad to get a run in before my weekend started.
  • I did my first race in over two years (on April 24)! It was easy and well organized and I had a lot of fun running it with two friends.
  • Felt so sluggish on my Wednesday lunch break run. And brr.
  • I had such a good run to end my training week on, yay. Being around my friends in Kansas City made me really want to focus on eating healthier and getting back in shape.
  • I took two rest days this week, my first all year! Just wasn’t feeling like working out those days, and that is A-OK!
  • Monthly recap! In April I ran 44.9 miles (13 runs). My coldest run was 29°F and my warmest was 70°F. I walked 12 times and did 5 strength workouts. I did one race, the Trolley Run in Kansas City, Missouri. I still need to write a recap on it! Eek!
