Notes:
- It was so warm Monday I walked outside! WHUT! I almost didn’t because I wanted to walk on the treadmill and mess around on my phone, ha. But I am happy I got the fresh air.
- Ahh, it felt so nice to run outside in shorts and a long tee on Tuesday! It felt nice and it was so nice not to have to spend 5 minutes getting dressed with all the winter layers.
- I felt really good on my Friday run (which was odd, because I ran right after eating Burger King!) and thought it would be faster, but it was all on wet and muddy trail, and that shows! Ha! The soft trail felt good on my joints though.
- I was planning to do my long run Sunday but when Steven read the weather forecast and Saturday was going to be in the 60s (!!!) and Sunday was going to be windy, I ran it Saturday afternoon. It felt really good! I’m proud to get my first double digit run of the year in – that is what I wanted to get back to! I was super sore after, ha. So I did an easy walk Sunday.
- I’ve stuck with my goal of daily movement for the whole year so far! Now I really need to add in a eating less goal!
- Monthly recap! In February I ran 57.2 miles (14 runs). My coldest run was 11°F and my warmest was 43°F. I walked 14 times and did 7 strength workouts.
Your daily movement is excellent. Assuming all walks are outside now? It’s so weirdly spring-like already – and yet, they’re calling for a mix of snow/rain on Friday afternoon and evening. Ah, the midwest in the muddy season… so much fun!
Thanks! And yes, I am walking outside now! Ha, I wonder if we are getting snow too! LOL.
