- Our first floor has open circulation – all the rooms are connected – and when you enter the house you can go through the living room or office to get to the rest of the house. The office is the shortest path to the kitchen, but we had the office gated off for so long that I’ve become accustomed to going the long way – though the living room – even though the gates are down now. Like yesterday, I left the office and walked through the kitchen, dining room, and family room to get the foyer… when I could have just walked from the office to the foyer. Ha. I wonder how long it will take my brain to relearn that.
- My new position started on Monday, but most of my coworkers are off this week for spring break so not a lot has changed. I did remember to change my signature to my new team today.
- And since I am mentioning signatures, I have to say, it makes me nuts when people don’t use them in a work emails. Why is your phone number and title a mystery?!
- Yesterday was an amazing mail day! I received (free) paint pens from Tooli-Art (they consider me a brand ambassador and send me free products), stickers (that I forgot I ordered), a TacoCat Creations order, a print I ordered from a friend’s Etsy, and two surprise packages from rock painting friends!

I wonder how long it’s going to take you to get used to the new route in your house! It’s crazy how our brains rewire for things like that.
I hope the new position works out well for you! It’s probably weird that everyone is out right now, so you’re just waiting for what happens next!
Me too! I have been reminding myself I can walk through the office now, ha ha.
Thanks, me too. I am really hating work lately.
