Notes:

  • I was pumped for a 40°F run on Tuesday and I was just so sluggish. I need to pick up my feet more or something. Or maybe do some strides or speedwork.
  • I tried to pick it up a bit on Thursday and was somewhat successful. Ha ha.
  • I wanted to run 8 miles this weekend and it was a bit cold out… 16°F with a real feel of 4°F. My body felt fine but my face was too cold. And I stupidly went to the preserve, thinking it would be clear. Ha. The east side of it WAS NOT – it was almost 100% ice in some spots. Oh well, I still got 6 in!
  • This might sound like a bad thing, but Kim of the past would have been super upset she didn’t get a run in on Saturday (as was my intent this week… but I never figured it out as I didn’t want to wake up super early before I had a guest visiting), but now, it doesn’t bother me at all. I walked on the treadmill instead (it was too late to run then run again Sunday) and i was really happy I could!
