- GAH!!! We are both so over having to move the gate to get in and out of the office and basement, where we have Ned gated in. Just OVER it. But this is what we should have been doing from the beginning and we need to keep at it. The trio is getting more comfortable being around the gate when he’s there (with a blanket so they can’t see him), so that’s good progress. Apollo even hangs around to stare at him when he bangs on the gate. Khali will hang around a bit too. Starbuck runs away.
- Since I am on a roll with complaining, I will mention I’ve been sleeping horribly since Friday. Waking up a lot and having really vivid dreams. Blah. I really hope to take a nap this weekend. I’ve been a zombie during the day.
- This week, someone at work called my current position a “short break” from my previous position in design, implying I’d be back in design. Never say never, but probably NEVER. Ha. (And how presumptuous to say that.)
- A huge storm hit Chicago but mostly missed our house. Some people got a foot of snow and we got a little under an inch. I’m sure it will hit us later, but it was nice not to have to deal with all that snow this week when I was feeling so brain dead. (Gosh, I hope I didn’t just jinx myself!)

At least there is progress being made but man, I can imagine it is so annoying to have that gate to worry about. What’s your next step in acclimating Ted and the trio?
I’m sorry you haven’t been sleeping well and having vivid dreams! That sounds awful.
OMG. I almost threw it across the room today! LOL. The next step is to remove the blanket while they eat across from each other. 🙂
Thanks! It’s kind of getting better… but not great. UGH.
Oh, man, I hear you on the sleep. Mine has been hideous recently. I am not a napper, either, so, yeah. Kind of envious of you there! Hope it’s gotten better for you…
And I hope hope hope that the re–re-re introduction of Ned goes well. You have been so persistent – I just want it to pay off!
I am sorry your sleep has been so bad! Mine is a little better.
It’s getting better!
