Notes:
- I wanted to work out Monday but my neck had been sore since Sunday morning so I used that as an excuse to nap after work instead. And since I was able to fall right asleep at night, I think I needed that nap!
- But maybe I should have worked out Monday because by the time I ran Tuesday it had been almost five days off and I felt so creaky. Eek!
- I ran on snow Thursday and thought for sure my mile pace would be much slower than Tuesday. Nope. Maybe I had more energy since I ran in the afternoon?
- On Friday I ran all over hiding rocks and got enough steps in I am counting it as a walk.
- Monthly recap! In December I ran 43.9 miles (14 runs). I walked 3 times, hiked 2 times, and did 4 strength workouts.
- Yearly recap! In 2021, I ran 572.7 miles, cycled 570.5 miles, and walked 199 miles. My coldest run was 11°F and my warmest was 88°F. I did 86 strength sessions at home. I did one event – RAGBRAI.
- 2022 Goals? They aren’t SMART goals, but movement every day, speedwork again, and losing weight so I can run faster.
