Oops! Forgot to post these last week. Well, I didn’t forget – I hadn’t taken a photo until this week. Ha. I am going to send these to a friend. The design is by me.
This octopus playing poker is a commission, and my first time painting an octopus! He was fun! I named him Sprite. At first I painted him with four cards in his front tentacles and Steven let me know poker usually has five cards. Ha. Glad I showed him!
The person who ordered the octopus mentioned she liked my cat butts so I painted one real quick for her! (This design is so quick – it takes about 5 minutes)
Alright. Dog commissions. One person commissioned three dog rocks – her current dog (Sebastian, below)
and five dogs that are now gone. Indy and Hobie,
and Boscoe, Kozmo, and Jack. These were so much work for me. And frustrated me to no end. I am proud of how Indy turned out (and parts of the others) but I just cannot paint dogs well. I think I won’t take any dog commissions for a while. Or maybe commissions in general. (I am so honored I get commissions, my head space is just not right for them right now.)
Winnie and Piglet! I made this just because I wanted to use some Winnie the Pooh reel audio. Ha. (Watch the reel here.) I am sending this to a friend.
I ordered some heart temporary tattoos to put on rocks. I did nine of them and these are the only four that look okay, ha! (The tattoos went on fine on the other five, my embellishments were just bad!)
