- VERY VERY VERY EXCITING NEWS! The package I mailed my friend Emily in Australia on September 10th arrived yesterday, November 16th (still today here, very confusing), which is also her anniversary! I am so glad it finally made it, two months later, and it looks like it was all intact (you are definitely NOT supposed to mail catnip overseas and I totally did).
- My snister sent me a holiday package yesterday with lots of fun ornaments! I am not sure if we will do a tree this year, but I hung them up on our foyer mirror and now I kind of want to hang up more… thanks, Snis!!!
I have been wanting one of those vintage glass trees that our parents and grandparents painted and she found me the perfect ornament version of it
- I used to write my reading recaps in groups of three books on here and I am pretty sure I am past that mark, but I don’t really have a desire to recap and rate since my reading has been so meh. I haven’t even been updating my spreadsheet, gasp (I still update Goodreads)! I am still reading, just very slowly. Maybe I will get back to blogging about it down the road.
- I am really excited that a lot more of my holiday gifts this year are from small businesses and artists (and some homemade). I am still buying from big box places and Amazon, but am really trying to support more local businesses at the same time. And of course, I have to support them by buying things for myself. I mean, duh.
These are the earrings I won as a door prize! I got to choose from a whole table of things, and these spoke to me the most.
- Speaking of shopping small for myself, I so wish these were NOT in Australia. They would never get here in time for Christmas! I should order them anyway and hope I can wear them on Christmas with my family. Ha.

I miss your reading recaps, but I understand not feeling up to writing them when you feel blah about reading. I hope 2022 is a better reading year for you!

LOVE the Midwest nice shirt – where did you get that one?? Are any of your local connections online? (Seeing as I’m in another state but still relatively “local”?) I don’t buy much but if I DO buy something for someone I try (key word) to buy local. Success level varies. Sigh.

Sorry that is not very helpful. I already removed and recycled the tags and they had a generic square charge on my account rather than a business name.
