- A food vendor Steven and I like was having a donut pop-up week with a donut burger, donut milkshakes, and donuts. We went to try it and… it was not that good. Ha! It didn’t help we got there a bit late for our preorder, then had to wait quite a bit for someone to help us, so our food wasn’t very warm. Still a fun date night though!
- The cats love that they can go under the new furniture. Apollo in particular likes to hide there. It’s so hard to find him. Ha.
- One of my work besties came back from maternity leave this week, yay, yay, yay!!!!
- Horror story! I was using mod podge this week and wearing one of my new tops thinking about how horrible it would be if I got some on it. Then it splattered out of the cannister on my shirt. Sigh. I am someone who cannot handle having a stain on them so I immediately took it off, used a stain stick, and ran in through the wash even though it was dry clean only. Thankfully, it came out. I really should NOT use mod podge or paint with nicer tops on!
- We have family pics this weekend so I decided to get a haircut today. My last one was in April, ugh, so I bet my stylist will have to cut a lot off. I never wear it down but like it being long so I can put it up on top of my head!
- It’s funny how often I get ghosted on rock commissions. Like, we talk about it quite a bit and have even discussed price and I tell them I will start after they pay, and we talk some more… then they stop communicating. That is so so so fine with me. I am not looking for commissions and am definitely not going to chase them down. I just wonder what happens – do they reevaluate their budget? Decide they no longer want them? Forget? Any reason is a good reason, I would just appreciate a “never mind, I changed my mind!”

We purposefully bought a couch and loveseat that have legs several inches long because our cat used to climb up into the cushions of our old couch. We very much didn’t enjoy it, both because it occasionally caused us to sit on her and it destroyed the couch! I love it when cats hide under furniture, as long as it happens in someone else’s house!
Oh no!!!! I cannot imagine how bad I would feel if I sad on a cat! LOL!

Apollo’s hiding skillz are top notch! Lila loves sleeping under the couch and when I got my new one, I was worried it was too low to the ground for her. She made it work through, even if she does have to get realllly low to squish herself under there, haha.

I have to say… not a fan of the donut burger concept. I’m kind of sorry that it was not that good, but.. also kind of not surprised? (ha…)
Your cats are hilarious. And you know cats are not my favorite, so it takes a lot for me to think they’re cute and funny.
Oh yeah, we should not have been surprised! Lesson learned!
