Thursday snuck up on me, so no RTT post! How about a cobbled together recap of Stitch Fix #6?! (Also, I cannot believe #5 did not get its own post – I loved everything in that fix! I am linking it here for my future reference.)
For this fix I asked for jackets, long sleeved tops, and booties. I was able to preview 10 items (with the help of my snis, since we were together!) and I picked out these five. (I really need to screenshot the preview next time to show you all.)
I absolutely love 3 of the items, and like 2 of them. I kept them all.
Love – these Mia “Justin Braid Detail Pull On Booties.” My booties are worn out and needed replacing. I can’t wait to wear these with some straight/skinny jeans. This isn’t a great pic, but they are a dark brown.
Love – this Daniel Rainn “Jinnie Zipper Detail Blouse.” Oops, should have taken a photo of that – there is a cute zipper in the back. Whenever I bend over I feel something cold on my neck and get alarmed then remember it’s the zipper. Also, maybe I should have shown the cute details on the 3/4 sleeves? Great work, Kim.
Daniel Rainn is the brand I tend to keep the most. I really love their stuff!
Love – this Eden Society “Holly Contrast Hood Cargo Jacket.” This jacket has a thick weight to it I know will keep me warm. And it’s so cute! And it has a hood!
Like – the Brina & Em “Lemmy V-Neck Top” in the photo above. As snis predicted, the pattern is a bit too small and busy. It needs to be styled with a cardigan or scarf or huge statement necklace. The fabric is buttery soft and comfortable, so it was a keep.
And the last like – the Prosperity “Jolene Stretch Colored Denim Jacket.” Super cute, but a tad too small. So I will have to wear open unless I lose weight (unlikely, ha). I think it looks cute open, and I can wear the red one if I need to close my jacket. I would have sent it back but it was one of those things where the discount made it free or really cheap or something. Or so I tell myself. Ha.
Also, this image is goofy cause I snagged it from a Reel I filmed Monday. It was not jacket weather Monday! I was sweating!
You’re like an honest-to-god fashion blogger with these pictures. (I’m not being sarcastic – these pictures feel like you went out on the town for a fashion shoot! Much better than my pictures at home in front of a mirror.)
I loooove the color of that cargo jacket! And its style. Very cute! The shirts are great, too! I love a busy print on a shirt, can’t lie. 🙂 It hides “things” better than a solid color, haha. And I think you inspired me to ask for booties in my next StitchFix. My fall box comes next weekend, and I’m looking forward to seeing what she included. I forgot what I asked for – more casual tops, I think?
Hooray for two successful Stitch Fixes in a row!
Oh my gosh! You are so nice to say that! Thank you so much! 😀
Thanks! I really love the jackets and good point about the busy print – I hadn’t thought of that!
Yes booties!!!! They are so cute! I can’t wait to see what you get!
Oh, I love that jacket – color and style! Winner!
Thank you!
I love how you embrace color and pattern. You and I are complete opposites, I think. I wear mostly navy, black, and grey. Solids. Limited accessories (a scarf? yeeks…). Plus I’m super-short so some of the things you wear would look hilarious on me! Your style and preferences are becoming so clear as you get these fixes – it’s a lot of fun to observe from afar! Can’t wait for the next one.
Aww, thanks so much! I love loud patterns and color! I love your style of look too – makes it much easier to accessorize!!!!
LOL, another blogger who does SF was saying how the shorts she got were way too long and I was like “I wish they’d sent me those when I asked for shorts!” Height matters. LOL.
Aww thanks, glad you are enjoying! We have fam photos in 3 weeks so I was thinking about bumping up my next Fix!
