Notes:

  • When I’m running in excessive heat lately, I’m just so grateful to be running, that I don’t care how bad it is… but also know I’m only going 3 miles. Ha! After my Tuesday run, my face was still red and hot for two hours. Eek! (I felt fine, but my body obviously took a while to cool down!)
  • We had the most beautiful weather Saturday am – high 50s! It felt like a little taste of fall for my run. I ran 4 miles and felt good. That’s the longest I’ve run in a while! I’m being super cautious about building mileage.
  • After my Saturday run I met Kathie and Kristi for a Historic Hike sponsored by the forest preserve at a local preserve. We learned about the history of the people in the area, and about the trees, and plants, and wildlife in the preserve. It was really interesting and I’d love to do another!
  • Ugh. Another week where I didn’t ride. Come on Kim, quit being lazy!
