Ha! I almost forgot to do my rock dump Friday post. I am pretty sure I had a Random Thoughts Thursday drafted for yesterday too. Oops!
Here is the Pusheen I painted for the fly-in (yes, to make a Reel, sigh)! I just did a google search for “Pusheen in airplane” and copied what came up. I haven’t done anything with it yet (I unfortunately did not bring any sealer to actually seal it and hide it at the fly-in!)
These birds are from the Terry Runyan animals book. I made them specifically for a Reel where I was showing how to use Inktense Ink Pencils. I’ll post that next week. And I haven’t done anything with these rocks yet!
Another Terry Runyan creation! A scandalous sunbathing cat. Hey, shouldn’t the bikini top have more coverage than that? I haven’t done anything with this one yet.
Here are some ice cream cats (my design) I created for this week’s Instagram Live (watch here). I haven’t done anything with these yet.
And here are the ones from last week’s Live! I am mailing one of these to a friend in Australia, but otherwise haven’t done anything with them.
An Instagram friend sent me a Pusheen book and I copied this from it! I haven’t hidden this yet.
OOOO, and finally! Terry Runyan style cats on heads! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these. I kind of want to keep one! They were so fun to create!
Oh! Shamless plug! Check out this cute Reel with Apollo in it. And while you there, watch this one with my snis and this one with my nephew!
Kim – Your reals are hilarious and very creative (along w/ your rocks)!
Thank you so much! I have a lot of fun making them and have quite a few drafted! π
Hey now – don’t shame that cat for the size of her bikini top! She can wear what she wants! π (That one really made me giggle, though!)
Ha ha ha! I just didn’t want to paint a bikini top that covered all of a cat’s 8 nipples LOL!
When I read your comment about how one of these was “so fun to create”, I thought, I wonder if Kim could have predicted a year ago that she’d be painting rocks for fun, for a creative outlet, and for connection? It makes me think about how I try to plan everything, and despite that we never know what we’ll be doing in (a year, a month, a day), and how it’s best to be open to possibilities. π (I’m coming to this conclusion based on the fact that I don’t REMEMBER you talking about wanting to paint rocks but maybe I’m wrong? :>)
I definitely didn’t think I would be or talk about it a year ago. My sister suggested I try it and I refused to because I don’t see myself as artistic. Then I kept finding so many I felt like I needed tog give back and hide my own as well, and here we are (I started in December)! And who knows if I will still be doing it in a year! I think this is the great thing about life – you never know what new thing you are going to do, try, eat, or read. Definitely pays to be open to possibilities π
