Notes:
- Oops, another week where I forgot to write notes as I went, err…
- So, yes. My runs are feeling slow, like my legs aren’t firing up at all, but I feel fine otherwise and am just so happy to be running again! Even in this heat!
- I did my last long-ish ride before RAGBRAI! It was hot, but not as hot as RAGRABI will be… the high for that day is 100F°. Ha ha ha, we are so fooked. Anyway, it was a good ride, even though a bug flew in my buff and bit (stung?) me and I had to pull it out, and now I have a bump there.
- I did one regular strength workout this week and two days of very heavy lifting at the warehouse. I am so bruised and sore! I will share more on that in my weekend recap, and why I might have a bump in my nose for a while (hopefully not forever…?)
- Tricia invited me to walk Sunday and I told her I’d have to let her know after I felt after moving all day Saturday – I was shuffling at the end of the day! But we went and I think the walk really helped, and making a silly Reel with her energized me, and I went home and ran 3 miles after putzing around for a (long) bit.
