Highlight of the Week: Feeling strong on my Saturday run / feeling fast on my road bike.

Run location: VP Woods, Temp: 76°/75°, Time: 40:31, Pace: 13:30 avg, Difficulty: easy, Felt: fine, but slow – am I even moving? Ha. (I am just grateful to be running!)
Friday | July 16, 2021: strength + 15.2 m ride
Run location: to Wilmot Rd and back, Temp: 72°, Time: 58:35, Pace: 15.6 mph avg, Difficulty: easy, Felt: good, but like the wind was going to knock me over

Notes:
- This felt like a lazy week! I didn’t want to get out of bed in the early am (until Friday) and had stuff going on after work most days, so not a lot of time made to work out. Hashtag excuses.
- I saw my friend Riyanti during my Tuesday run. It’s always run to run into a friend on the trail!
- My road bike is so light I feel like I am blowing over if there is any hint of wind. Ha. I am A LOT faster on it though.
- I had such a strong run Saturday, yay! I am going to stick around the 3 mile distance for a while so I don’t push it too fast with my knee.
- I keep waking up with a stiff right foot, almost plantar fasciitis-y. Ugh, something new to watch.
- This was the first week I did my long ride on my road bike, and, like I said above, I just feel so much faster on it! It’s nice to get done a bit quicker!
