Notes:

  • I’m sure I say this every time I get on my road bike after mostly riding a mountain bike but I’m SO MUCH FASTER on it. Ha. Even with the wind in my face. I like to think doing so much training on the crushed trails will make our day of RABRAI feel a lot easier! (It turns out the route we are riding this year is almost the exact same as Day 4 of 2015, which we also rode.)
  • I rode a new-to-me route Monday and was pleasantly surprised to discover bike lanes on part of it! I’ll be doing that route again.
  • I was able to run three times this week with no knee pain. Yay!
  • Friday’s run was completely gorgeous and cool for July. I got sprinkled on then saw a beautiful double rainbow.
  • Dad, Will, and I rode the Heritage Trail in Iowa on Saturday as part of our RAGBRAI training. It was quite an adventure that I will write about in my weekend recap. I am glad I got a chance to ride with them before RABRAI and see how their training is going.
