Notes:

  • Wednesday was Global Running Day, and it was hard to see everyone’s post about it when my knee is bugging me again! I went out thinking I’d run, but ran for about 30 seconds and knew I shouldn’t, so I walked. Wah wah wah, right? If I want my knee to get better, I really need to lose weight (<— broken record). And now is a very good time to get ready to ride 70 miles at the end of July!
  • So I rode my mountain bike on Thursday. And had no idea it was World Bicycling Day. LOL at these made up holidays. None of my cycling jerseys fit me… oops. I’ve ridden so little that when I went to my cycling spreadsheet to put my ride in, I hadn’t deleted any of the few rides from 2020 off the sheet yet when I copied it over. Ha. Oops?
  • I was worried riding would bug my knee but thankfully it isn’t. My sit bones are just sore AF, which is to be expected.
  • Ha, below I mention only taking one day off in May and I took three off this week alone! That’s okay. I didn’t feel well Monday and had a super busy weekend!
  • Monthly recap! In May I ran 66.9 miles (14 runs). My coldest run was 41°F and my warmest was 72°F. I walked 16 times (a new monthly record!). I did 7 strength workouts. Another lazy strength month! I think I only took one day completely off working out this month though – this Monday – so that’s cool!
