Weekly rock post time!

I painted these rocks as a commission for Dave2. They’re adult and kitten versions of his cats Jake and Jenny. Isn’t Jake just the cutest, holding his Mufasa stuffie? I had a hard time letting go of that one. Dave2 asked me to paint Jenny with frowny face since that’s her signature look. I showed Steven (who didn’t know I’d received that instruction) and he was like, “why does this cat have RBF?” Ha ha ha. Orange cats are so hard to paint because of the limited paint options I have and since I am not good at blending my pens, but they came out okay!

I also painted a tacocat and purrito for Dave to hid and forgot to take pics of them, oops! He posted a pic of the rocks here.

I painted these May 22-23

I wanted to paint my mom a rock for her birthday next week and saw this cheesy Pusheen scene and decided it was perfect! This rock is huge – bigger than my hand! She loved it!

I painted his May 21

I got a commission from someone in my group who wanted a set of cat rocks to hide for her five-year-old child. How sweet is that? Here is the entire set (I added a bonus cat butt rock, ha):

And here is the entire set I sent to my friend with the rock library. You’ve seen most of these before.

Here’s the commission I got last Friday night that they needed this Wednesday, for their son’s birthday. Their son just loves his cat and the two of them do everything together! They sent me a pic of their son with the rock and it was adorable.

I completed ANOTHER commission set this week, for a friend’s mom. I realized I did the rainbow colors wrong after I painted two more rainbow cats for another commission. Awesome. I’ll post that commission when the entire set is finished.

I painted this random taco cat and left it at Gina and Steve’s river house.

I was so excited to paint these cute cats eating watermelon based off of a clip art design by Erica Digital Design but I had so many issues – the pen skipping and getting ink all over the rock, then the pen was too thick, and gah, they were SUCH a mess. I was so mad and wanted them out of my house so I hid them on my Wednesday walk without tagging or initialing them or posting them in my group.

Kandi sent me an idea from Society6 for these rainbow cats. Not sure what I will do with them yet!

And here is another Erica Digital Design inspired rock, with a better outcome. I will probably hide it over the weekend.
