SO MANY ROCKS THIS WEEK!
I did paint my version of the Starbucks gift card, and whoa, I did NOT mean to make the pink cat look evil! I hid this on my Sunday run.
I painted a second version of the constellation cat for my snis. I love that this one has a natural black-ish background.
I painted my second cousin Erinn’s dogs Maple and Nova as a commission (yay, commission!). I was worried about painting dogs since I mostly paint cats, but I like how they turned out. I will give this to her dad tomorrow to pass along to her!
Then I started doing lots of cat sets. I figured I would make some more for Sip & Purr in case they want to sell more? Hee hee. I hid half of these on my Tuesday run. I got the idea from Google images.
Notice how above I colored the eyes, below I made them white, and on the last two sets I just did black dots? Laziness!
I hid four of these between my Wednesday walk and Thursday run.
I hid five of these between my Wednesday walk and Thursday run.
Aww, I based this one off of a tattoo I saw on Rose & Crown Tattoos. I based it off of Khali and Data, then got so mad that the white paint was being a pain and just wanted the rock out of the house… but then felt a little sad when I hid it at Aldi Wednesday. Oh, emotions.
Ugh, this set turned out so weird. And told me I needed to quit doing matching sets. I will hide some of these on my walk today.
I did this big Pusheen set and despite them all having little issues, I think they turned out cute! I’m going to save the ice cream one for an Instagram giveaway and hide the rest throughout this weekend and next week.
Those dogs turned out great! I love them. π
The rock of Khali and Data!! My heart!
Thank you so much!
I know, right?!
For not doing a lot of dog rocks, what you did for your second cousin came out perfect! I am always so impressed not only at how cute your paintings are – you definitely are an artist, my friend – but also at how many you can do each week. There are a lot of small details that you are hitting so perfectly, which has to take a lot of time and concentration. Love your weekly round up rock posts. π
Shelley, this comment absolutely made my day when I read it yesterday and I am sorry I did not respond until today. Thank you so much! I am glad you like the dog rocks, I felt nervous about them but love how they turned out. And thanks for noticing the details, and I am so glad you like the roundups!!!!
