Whoa, lots of cat rocks, which is a big surprise to… no one.
As a reminder, I post these in chronological order of when I painted them. Hence them not being grouped alike below.
I found this LOVE cat on a google image search and hid in on my Saturday run. It was gone within ten minutes! (I only know because Bobbi was at the preserve too and checked the spot right after I put it there.)
This is Anne’s dog, Violet! I painted her based off of an image from her Instagram. I gave this to Anne on Saturday!
This kitty building a sand castle is based off of a google image search as well. I hid her on my Monday run.
I have been wanting to try paper cutout rock art for a long time and finally did it! I used copies of a poem from Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats for all the backgrounds. The top left and bottom right kitty are from a google image search, and the mother cat is from another cat poem book (The Poetical Cat), and the other two are designs I’ve done before. I love how these turned out. I hid four of them on my Sunday walk and they were gone asap. I mailed two to an Instagram friend.
Oops, I cannot remember where I found the rest of the cat designs. Either The Poetical Cat or google? They were all black and white outlines that I colored in. I hid these on my Wednesday run.
I hid these on my Tuesday run.
I hid these on my Thursday walk (well, saved one for a friend).
One of these is a gift and the other two were mailed to the giveaway winner from Instagram, as bonus rocks to keep or hide.
I wanted to try the LOVE cats with isopropyl alcohol and sharpies! I gave this to Bobbi as a gift.
I liked the cat backs so much I made nine more! Three to hide, one as a gift, and five for Sip & Purr (I am going there today to give them all the rocks!).
And I liked the paper cutout cats so much I made some for Sip & Purr.
And finally, a constellation kitty based off of a shirt I saw an ad for on Revival Link. I hid this this morning!
The paper cutout rocks came out so good! I really like them.
I also love the constellation kitty. How cute!
Thank you! I really like them too!
Thanks! I painted another one for my snis that has a natural gray background!
