I have a very important question for you today – what do you do with your sticker collection?
I’ve amassed this collection, and want to display it, but don’t want to stick them on my laptop, and I don’t really have room on our fridge (there’s even more magnets on it now than in that picture I linked to…).
Any ideas?
- Get a blank notebook and put them there?
- Put them on the filing cabinet? (using magnets)
- Put them on the freezer in the basement? (using magnets)
- Get a bulletin board for my desk (er, there is no space though…)
- Hang them on the card display in the kitchen? (they usually start out there)
Right now they are just sitting in my desk drawer, never seen! GASP!
What do you do with yours? Or did you stop collecting stickers when your age was still in the single digits? Hee hee.
I’ve got stickers plastered on my laptop and the case for my Fire. I also place a random sticker (with backing on it) between my phone and the outer case so I can swap it out easily. I’ll do a post to show you what I have and where.
Stickers are meant to be stuck! Let them live their manifest destiny!!! They are sad with backing on them. Make them happy, Kim!
Oh thanks! I am excited to see it! I like the idea of it on my phone. What do you do to keep it from getting gross and peeling off?

I put stickers that I feel reflect me as a person or speak to my current interests on the water bottle I carry with me everywhere I go.
Oh yeah, I have seen people do that! What happens to them when you wash it?
I really only clean the mouth piece, the straw and the inside so the stickers aren’t really affected.

I put mine on my gym water bottle to differentiate it from other similar bottles. Of course now I’m the only one there so there’s no mix ups, but I do like to see them. Other than that, they’re in my desk drawer, LOL. I don’t like to put stickers permanently on most of my stuff, except for my 13.1 sticker on my old car. It’s not on my new (OK, 2015 but still feels new to me) car.
We do have some race magnets on the side of our washing machine, so making some of your stickers into magnets would be nice and give you more flexibility as to where to put them.
Do you also not put your bottle in the dishwasher, like Jennifer said in her comment? I definitely use a water bottle all day long!
I really bet I will lean toward that 😉 I don’t like putting permanent stickers on most things either, which is probably pretty obvious!

I also have some stickers that I like but don’t know where to stick them! I have a water bottle but no stickers on it so far. I don’t want to put them on my laptop. I don’t know!!! Let me know when you figure it out.
I will post when I decide what to do! I am leaning toward water bottle, but still open to other ideas. Ha.
See, this is why I don’t have any stickers. I’m just like, “What would I do with them?!” Haha. I like the water bottle idea that other people mentioned! I have a friend who has this huge water bottle that’s filled with stickers, and it’s great because it really just showcases who she is as a person (a crazy dog lover, hehe). It’s a great conversation piece, too!
Mine is just going to have a bunch of cat stickers on it! I am very worried about getting them wet though. I guess people just throw it out and replace it when it does?!
I try to avoid stickers for this very reason! Where do I put them? Most of my coworkers put stickers on their laptop (It’s a thing.), but I always feel like I’m being free advertising when I do that.
I’ve been putting a few that I like on my robot vacuum or my sewing machine case.
One of my friends just moved found out that her kids had made the closet door into “sticker door” where they had been putting stickers for YEARS. She had to scrape them all off before they sold the house.
Ha! I bet there is a whole stickered laptop subculture I know nothing about. Some places I’d happily give free advertising to! (most, not)

I have a couple on my car that I use to find it in parking lots (silver Nissans are quite common)

That is smart with your car! I gave my mom a “cat grandma” magnet that helps her find her van, lol.
